About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver patient-centered care and treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting patients with exercises, stretches, and other physical therapy interventions
Monitoring patient progress and reporting to the Physical Therapist
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatment
Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Providing exceptional customer service to our residents and families
Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and treatment plans
Provide treatment interventions, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities
Monitor patient progress and report to the Physical Therapist
Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment
Participate in staff meetings and in-service training as needed
Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current PTA certification in the state of New Jersey
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
