Job summary

North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. Under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will assist with evaluations, modalities, and treatment plans to help residents reach rehabilitation goals and improve quality of life.

Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Requirements: CAPTE-accredited PTA program and a high school diploma; be able to pass a Level 2 background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by CAPTE.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Physical Therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and training sessions.
• Conducting physical therapy modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals.
• Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Full-time responsibilities may include evenings and weekends to meet residents’ needs.
