Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home-based care team in Florida. You will assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans, help patients regain movement, and educate families on at-home exercises.

Your experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings is valued, as is knowledge of physiology and inpatient therapy procedures. Flexible hours allow you to tailor your schedule while delivering quality care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient care, particularly in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings, is preferred or home care
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
