North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. Under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will assist with evaluations, modalities, and treatment plans to help residents reach rehabilitation goals and improve quality of life.

Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Requirements: CAPTE-accredited PTA program and a high school diploma; be able to pass a Level 2 background

Qualificações

• Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by CAPTE.

• Assisting Physical Therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and training sessions.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at North Lake Care Center, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and training sessions
• Conducting physical therapy modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Physical Therapy Assistant Full Time responsibilities may include working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

Candidates must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening via the Florida Clearinghouse.
