Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Florida. You will assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, helping patients regain movement and manage pain in a home care setting.

You will monitor progress, educate patients and families on home exercises, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, compassionate patient care across diverse home-based environments.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred in geriatrics/orthopedics/hospital settings.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
