Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health team in Florida.

You will support physical therapists in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, helping patients regain movement and manage pain in their homes. Ideal candidates have experience in geriatrics or hospital settings, a solid understanding of physiology, and familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient care, particularly in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings, is preferred or home care
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
