Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to assist licensed Physical Therapists in helping patients recover mobility and independence after serious illness, injury or medical events. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care to residents seeking short-term/transitional rehabilitation to recover functional ability and independence.
• Assist in providing quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document services to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organization guidelines, meeting standards and legal requirements.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement individualized therapy plans to restore and enhance performance.
• Identify needs and refer to other disciplines as appropriate under PT supervision.
