Job summary

The role emphasizes collaboration with licensed therapists, accurate billing documentation, and adapting individualized therapy programs to restore function after orthopedic injuries and medical events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care of residents to recover and rehabilitate from illness or injury.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services for accurate and timely billing.
• Ensure care follows Plan of Care and organizational guidelines and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs under a Physical Therapist.
• Identify need for referrals to other disciplines under supervision.
• Other duties may be assigned.
