Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support rehabilitation efforts, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role focuses on helping patients regain mobility and independence after illness or surgery, with emphasis on strength, balance and gait training.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and a valid PTA license in the practicing state or proof of eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care of residents who seek short-term/transitional care with the goal to recover and rehabilitate from serious illness, injury or medical event.
• Assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services provided to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
• Assures that patient care follows the established Plan of Care, organization guidelines, and professional standards in compliance with Federal and State laws.
• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, identifies and develops a comprehensive plan of care; develops and implements individualized therapy programs.
• Identify need for and refer to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
