COLONIALVISTAPA staff Physical Therapist Assistant role supports the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.

This full-time position offers wage DOE: $25-$40/hour. An associate degree from an accredited PTA program and state licensure are required; CPR certification may be required. You will document thoroughly, maintain a safe treatment environment, and educate residents and families on home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.
• Proficient in computer-based documentation systems.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
