FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS in Elgin, Illinois seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed PT, implementing treatment plans and helping patients reach rehabilitation goals. This full-time role supports a collaborative team and emphasizes high-quality care.

The PTA will document treatments, maintain compliance with regulations (OSHA, etc.), and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsabilidades

• Implements treatment programs designed by a physical therapist to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains complete and accurate records pertinent to patient treatment to assure proper documentation and to be in regulatory compliance.
• Maintains professional skills/competencies to effectively and progressively meet the demands of the position.
• Provide clinical instruction to students when assigned.
• Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend and participate in department meetings and mandatory educational programs.
• Follow hospital and department policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
