Job summary

PCI Health Training Center seeks a Program Director for the PTA program to provide academic and administrative leadership, ensuring curriculum quality and compliance with ACCSC and CAPTE requirements. The role supervises faculty, coordinates clinical education, and tracks student outcomes.

Requirements include a Master’s degree (Doctoral preferred), current PT/PTA licensure, and at least five years of post-licensure clinical experience with teaching and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred for program leadership.
  • Current, valid PT or PTA licensure in applicable states.
  • Minimum five years of post-licensure clinical experience with teaching/leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall academic and administrative leadership for the PTA program.
  • Develop and revise curriculum to meet accreditation and contemporary practice.
  • Recruit, supervise, and evaluate program faculty across didactic and clinical settings.
  • Coordinate with ACCE/Director of Clinical Education and sites for quality education.
  • Monitor student outcomes, retention, and NPTE-PTA pass rates; support outcomes reporting.
  • Support accreditation activities and maintain facilities and budget for the program.
