Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a Process Technician to monitor, regulate, and operate the PTA process at the Cooper River Plant in Wando, SC. The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts, working in all weather, and adhering to SHE procedures.

Responsibilities include starting and shutting down the process unit, adjusting equipment, troubleshooting process issues, and maintaining records while coordinating with maintenance and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience or 4 years military experience or related technical associate’s degree or three years of troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to read and follow detailed operating, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Willingness to relocate to or commute to the Ineos Cooper River Plant daily.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate and shut down the process unit per procedures.
• Adjust equipment for safe and optimal operation of the unit.
• Troubleshoot abnormal process situations and respond to alarms.
• Work with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate across teams.
