Job summary

RIVERVIEW in is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support patient care under a Physical Therapist's direction. You will record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes, and assist in maintaining the department and treatment area.

You will also participate in patient care conferences, train family and nursing staff for discharge, and communicate progress and plans with the health team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.
• Proficient computer skills (Casamba, Point Click Care).
• Ability to relate positively with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining department and treatment area.
• Instruct families and staff on maintenance and caregiver training for discharge.
