Windsor Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Windsor, NC is hiring a PRN PTA to provide skilled physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT. The role supports resident care with careful documentation and adherence to state guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA and maintains active state licensure/registration. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient participation and progress with co-signature of the PT.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as needed.
• Supervise junior PTA staff or students as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, facility staff, patients and families.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or Regional Manager.
