Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy services in South Carolina. The PTA will assist in executing the care plan prescribed by the evaluating therapist, perform clinical tasks, and maintain timely documentation in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities include supporting the therapy team, adhering to policies, and completing required orientations and trainings. A valid SC PTA license and CAPTE-accredited education are required.

Qualifications

• Valid professional license in the state of practice (SC).
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program; if foreign-trained, must be substantially equivalent as evaluated by an approved credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the PT care plan and treatments as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to state practice acts.
• Perform clinical tasks, documentation, and communication timely and accurately per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
