Job summary

Mountain View Post Acute in Mountain View is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation and well-being of residents in a post-acute setting.

The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist, deliver interventions and exercises, document progress, educate residents and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with residents in post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy interventions and exercises to residents.
• Monitor, document, and report resident progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
• Educate residents and families on proper use of equipment and at-home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments provided.
