Job summary

Sunnyvale Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. Full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities available; new grads welcome.

As a PTA, you will treat patients under the Physical Therapist, record notes, assist with department maintenance, and participate in patient care conferences. In-house therapy program and competitive pay at $40-$55 per hour with benefits including healthcare, 401k, PTO.

Qualifications

• PTA license required.
• New grads welcome.
• In-house therapy program available.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining department.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Instruct nursing staff in caregiver training for discharge.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team regarding patient progress.
• Record treatment changes per policy and procedures.
• Relate positively with patients, families and staff.
