We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!

Hospital Details

Sky Rehab, located in Bowling Green, KY, is a 60-bed inpatient rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where you really get to know your patients and their families. Sky Rehab Hospital is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for various services and specialty programs, including inpatient rehabilitation for adults, adolescents, and children, as well as brain injury and stroke specialty programs. It is also accredited by The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. Work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and according to physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred; previous hospital experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Proficiency with computer and software applications relevant to the role.
• No illegal drug use or effects of drug and alcohol use in the workplace.
