Avamere Rehab of Oregon City is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering quality patient care at our Oregon City facility. You will assist with treatment plans, communicate with patients and team, and document progress in accordance with department requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold an approved PTA program credential, maintain CPR/BLS certification, and demonstrate professionalism, multitasking ability, and knowledge of Medicare and payer

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• Able to practice unencumbered.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources.
• Active CPR/BLS certification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes established patient treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with patients, families, referring physicians, and other team members.
• Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
• Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and associations.
• Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.
• Maintain licensure and compliance as required by state agencies.
