Avamere Riverpark of Eugene in Eugene, OR seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to support licensed therapists in delivering quality patient care. You will implement treatment plans, communicate with patients and physicians, and document per requirements.

Requirements include graduation from an approved PTA program, active CPR/BLS, and good standing with licensing boards. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and compliance with payer policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• Able to practice unencumbered.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources.
• Full knowledge of residents’ rights.
• Exudes professionalism in presentation.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.
• Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
• Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations.
• Provides timely written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements.
• Supports and participates in department operations and development.
• Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.
