Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinician-led team at Galax Health and Rehab in Galax, VA. This full-time daytime position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive environment dedicated to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans under a PT supervision, documenting patient progress, and educating patients on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Must have PTA degree and be licensed in the state.
• Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Ability to implement treatment plans and educate patients.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
