Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Job Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will work in an outpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on orthopedic populations, young athletes, and post‑operative patients. The PTA will also assist patients with debility, falls, and balance‑related issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one patient care and therapy interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment planning for patients with various diagnoses including orthopedic, neuromuscular, and general med/surg conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient interactions and progress in the Meditech charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant; 2 years preferred.
- Experience working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, and post‑operative patients is essential.
- No specific certifications required for this position.
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in hand at the time of submission.
- Meditech charting experience preferred.
