Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Lexington, KY team. You will provide 1:1 patient care in home settings, coordinate with a supervising PT, and contribute to meaningful patient outcomes in a supportive, expanding organization.

This Full-time role offers flexible scheduling options, potential for advancement, and the chance to work independently with team backing in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification as per state regulations.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Regularly communicates with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and plan of treatment.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and incorporates its use into rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in required timelines.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment


• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns


• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program


• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing


• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations


• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred


• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
