Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a passionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Lexington, KY team. This full-time position provides 1:1 patient care in home settings, supervised by a Physical Therapist, with opportunities for growth and stable employment.

The role requires an active PTA license, BLS/CPR, and ideally 1 year of PTA experience; excellent communication and independence are valued as you support patients in their recovery and daily function.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification in state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist.
• Confer with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient progress, status of goals and concerns.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record; assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per company, facility, funding source and regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
