Adoration Health in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team. You will provide patient-centered PT services under supervision, coordinate with the supervising therapist, and help ensure successful rehabilitation in a home-care setting.

The position offers full-time hours, supportive team structure, and opportunities for professional growth within a growing organization dedicated to quality home-based care.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury.

Responsabilités

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the licensed Physical Therapist per patient treatment plan.
• Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to review progress and adjust goals.
• Communicates patient needs and progress and helps secure adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Completes and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient's needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function. Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
