Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant in Warner Robins, GA. You will provide 1:1 patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on individualized plans of treatment.

The role emphasizes compassionate, results-driven rehabilitation in the home setting. Ideal candidates have a valid PTA license, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of experience in rehab, with comfort in coordinating equipment and documenting care for reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• CPR/BLS certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Communicates patient progress and needs to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and documents care for billing and compliance.
• Maintains patient treatment records and billing documentation per regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
