Job summary

North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Per Diem to join our compassionate team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents regain strength, mobility, and function after injury or illness.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate progress records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists with conducting evaluations and treatment sessions
• Implement physical therapy plans and interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and exercises
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized patient care plans
