Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role requires an active state license and graduation from an accredited PTA program.

One year of experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply. CPR certification is required at hire and must remain current throughout employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Active license in the applicable state; license must be maintained.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Maintain dependable, regular attendance.
• Demonstrate good judgment and reasoning.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move as needed during work hours.
