Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in St. Louis, MO. You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services and contribute to patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an APTA-accredited PTA program degree, a minimum associates degree, and is eligible for state licensure. We offer a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) with competitive compensation including a $5k sign-on bonus for full-time

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a A.P.T.A accredited therapy assistant program, with a minimal of an Associates degree and be eligible for State Board Examination.
• PTA must maintain all requirements of State licensure.
• Current license to practice in the state is required.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients ONLY under the direction of a Physical Therapist as defined in the State law.
• Administer treatment with therapeutic exercise, massage, mechanical devices, and therapeutic agents that use the properties of air, water, electricity, sound or light.
• Make minor modifications to treatment plans within the predetermined plan of care, assist the physical therapist with evaluations, and document treatment progress.
• The PTA may administer treatment under supervision and with delegated tasks, as defined by the supervising PT.
