Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The PTA will work under a licensed PT, delivering patient‑centered therapy to improve mobility and function.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with flexibility; pay is hourly and based on experience. Benefits start day one include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, HSA, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function.
• Support and deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands‑on, patient‑centered care.
• Implement patient‑specific treatment plans created by the PT.
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment.
• Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions.
