Lebanon Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Seattle, WA. The PTA works under a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents regain movement and manage pain through prescribed exercises and manual therapy.

Responsibilities include ambulation support, documenting care, applying treatment plans, educating patients, and maintaining safety and infection-control standards. A PTA license and CPR certification are required; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA licensure in the state.
• CPR certification.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility as directed.
• Support physical therapists by carrying out treatment plans and documenting progress.
• Assess patients through interviews and basic examinations and review histories.
• Document patient care in records and maintain chart accuracy.
• Administer manual exercises and instruct residents in activity and functional tasks.
• Educate patients on regimens and wellness strategies.
• Maintain safety and infection-control practices and contribute to continuity of care.
• Attend shifts punctually and support production goals as directed.
