Job summary

Edisto Post-Acute is a beautiful 113-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Orangeburg, SC, seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our PTA team. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay ranging from $25-35/hour, with excellent benefits for full-time staff.

You will assist the Physical Therapist with patient care, help residents improve mobility and function, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

• PTA degree from an accredited program.
• SC PTA license in good standing required.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient care related to physical activities.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehab journey.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care.
