Job summary

Edisto Post-Acute is a beautiful 113-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Orangeburg, SC, less than a mile from Edisto Memorial Gardens. We are seeking a compassionate PTA to join our Edisto Post-Acute family in a PRN capacity, offering $25-35/hour and opportunities for advancement within our SC sister facilities.

The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist, help residents improve mobility and function, document progress, and collaborate with a caring interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Valid, unencumbered South Carolina PTA license (Required).
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Physical Therapist with patient care related to physical activities
• Helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function
• Encouraging and motivating residents throughout their rehab journey
• Documenting treatments and resident progress accurately
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care
