Job summary

Northern Lights Physical Therapy in Bismarck, ND, seeks a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient clinic. You will deliver direct patient care under a supervising PT, implement therapy programs, and monitor progress within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate or student in a PTA program.
• Active North Dakota PTA license or eligibility.
• Outgoing and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the established plan of care and clinical protocols created by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs, carrying out essential therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
• Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and report any significant changes or responses to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist with patient assessments and participate in gathering data as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues to provide encouragement, education, and updates on treatment progression.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, attendance records, and incident reports in collaboration with the primary physical therapist.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation technicians to maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinic environment and support patient flow.
