Northern LightsPhysical Therapy in North Dakota seeks a passionate Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic rehab team. You will assess patients, design and implement treatment plans, and document progress to support recovery and return to work, sport, and daily life.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current or upcoming North Dakota Physical Therapy license.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations.
  • Review physician referrals and patient records to determine required PT treatment.
  • Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document findings, progress, and patient/caregiver instructions.
  • Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians during patient care.
  • Develop plan of care, goals, and comprehensive programs to attain outcomes.
  • Deliver PT treatments and adjust programs as needed.
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance representatives.
  • Ensure timely notes and reports including evaluations, progress, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Northern Lights.

As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their recovery and well-being.

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
Qualifications
  • Graduate (or upcoming) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current (or upcoming) Physical Therapylicense in the state of North Dakota
  • Outgoing and energetic personality
  • New graduates are welcome!
