Job summary

People Well Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a supportive SNF rehabilitation team in Watsonville, CA. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans and help patients progress toward meaningful functional goals.

Responsibilities include therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active CA PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait, balance, mobility, and functional training.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers within the established plan of care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care team.
