Job summary

You will educate residents and families, maintain a safe environment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliant, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and communicate changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety precautions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
