Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ safety, function, and quality of life.

This PRN role is with in-house therapy services at The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods and related facilities in Sarasota, FL. Licensed Florida PTAs (or license-eligible) are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health documentation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
• Work inside dedicated therapy gyms within the SNFs to support residents in regaining function and independence.
