Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Wilson, NC is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support an in-house skilled nursing facility. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic services and help residents meet their treatment goals.

The role requires an associate degree in physical therapy and an active PTA license in North Carolina. Full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules are available, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing

Qualifications

Associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
Commitment to ongoing continuing education and licensure maintenance.
Ability to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention.
Assist in evaluation processes and treatment plan development with the Physical Therapist.
Implement treatment plans including mobility, strength, gait, and ROM activities.
Monitor resident responses and coordinate adjustments with the Physical Therapist.
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy interventions and equipment use.
Maintain compliant and medically necessary documentation in the CMS-appropriate EMR.
Support scheduling and collaboration with the therapy team to optimize productivity.
