Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and document progress for ongoing care.

The role requires a PTA degree from an accredited program, current licensure or certification, CPR certification preferred, and 0–1 years of experience. On-site position with a strong team focus and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• The PTA provides therapeutic interventions under a Physical Therapist.
• Licenses and Certifications: Must have and maintain a current PTA license/certification; CPR certification preferred.
• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising PT.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient progress and therapy responses.
• Instruct patients and families on exercise techniques and safety precautions for home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with evaluating patient needs and progress with supervision.
