The Plaza Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, FL seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting in treatment plans, direct patient care, documentation, and communication with care teams. We offer both part-time and full-time positions and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved PTA program is required.
• Current PTA certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments, record data, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices.
