Job summary

Parklands Care Center in Gainesville, FL is seeking dedicated Per-Diem Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our rehab team. Under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help residents improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence in a supportive, sub-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Florida PTA license (or eligibility).
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and response to treatment
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and state/federal regulations
