Cone Health Medical Group in Burlington, NC, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant II to support the physical therapy team under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The role focuses on rehabilitative care to help patients regain independence and resume daily activities.

The qualified candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in PTA, NC licensure, CPR certification, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Formación

• Associate degree as PTA from an accredited program.
• Current NC PTA license and CPR certification.
• 2 years of experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient treatments, tests, measures, and documentation.
• Implements therapy plans with appropriate interventions.
• Progresses patients within treatment plan to goals.
• Assists with therapeutic exercises to improve strength and ROM.
• Educates patients and families on plans and home exercises.
• Collaborates with PT on discharge plans and follow-up care.
• Monitors progress and adjusts plans as needed.
• Works with teams across departments for coordinated care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
