Mercy in Yukon, OK is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering compassionate patient care. You will perform assigned PT procedures, document progress notes, and help implement treatment plans under supervision.

The role requires an associate degree, current licensure with the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy, and American Heart Association BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree.
• Current license to perform as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification.
• Entry level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy procedures under supervision.
• Document patient progress notes and report changes in patient status.
• Coordinate workload and provide direction to the Physical Therapy aide as directed.
• Address age-specific needs and ensure patient safety and dignity.
