Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; license to practice as PTA in the applicable state.
• Health Care Provider Basic Life Support certification.
• Entry-level candidates acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing therapy and related tasks.
• Document patient progress notes and adjust within the plan as needed.
• Coordinate workload with the Physical Therapy aide and supervise as directed.
• Address age-specific needs and maintain patient safety and dignity.
• Report any patient safety issues per department policy.
