Job summary

Optimal Home Care is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado to provide patient care under the Physical Therapist supervision. The role requires licensure in Colorado, about one year of experience preferred, and strong communication skills.

You will administer therapeutic exercises, assist with developing care plans, and document patient progress with accuracy. The position offers an hourly wage of $43–$48 and benefits typical of a family-oriented home health agency,

Qualifications

• Graduated from a PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE or has passed the national PTA exam.
• Licensed and in good standing in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and development of the rehabilitative plan of care under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises with patients.
• Teach exercise programs to patients and families.
• Assist patients in using self-help devices.
• Maintain daily progress notes and report findings within seven days of each visit.
• Participate in staff meetings and department activities.
