Optimal Home Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitative services in Colorado. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, assist in evaluations and plan of care, and help patients with exercises and safe activity.

Requirements include graduation from a PTA program, Colorado license, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role offers mileage reimbursement, benefits, PTO, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a PTA curriculum approved by CAPE or passed national exam.
• Must be licensed in Colorado and in good standing.
• Must communicate in the client language and document client activity.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, assist in evaluation and development of the plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and dignity per HIPAA and agency policies.
• Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises as directed.
• Teach exercise programs to patients and families.
• Assist patients with use of self-help devices.
• Document patient progress notes and reports after visits.
