Blue Stone Therapy in Muskego, WI is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a new Milwaukee-area skilled nursing partnership. You will help establish a strong therapy program and deliver individualized, patient-centered care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Wisconsin PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional performance.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and mobility training.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to the development and success of a new therapy program through teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care.
