Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy is expanding our presence in Omaha, NE, and seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a new skilled nursing partnership. You will deliver individualized patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping establish a strong therapy program from day one.

You will work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team, guiding exercises, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes to support coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional performance.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and mobility training.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to the development and success of a new therapy program through teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care

What You'll Do

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in Nebraska
